In the world of portable technology there are laptops, Netbooks and tablets. Though they are similar in that they give us technology on the go, they also have many differences. Laptops are the grandfather to the netbook and tablet and can be defined as a sleek portable computer. Laptops screens stand at 90 degrees and are battery powered.

Netbooks are naturally smaller than Laptops but bigger than tablets. Netbooks do not have the hardware to allow gaming or but they do have office capabilities. Multimedia, emails and browsing the internet is still possible but on a more portable scale. The screens are not as big as laptops but their smaller screens allow them to be used in more places and the screen resolution can stand up to many laptops.

Tablets are pretty new to the scene and are very different from the tablet and the netbook. This device is completely touch screen and therefore does not have a physical keyboard. Unlike Laptops, Tablets do not have trackpads, but can come with a digital pen to edit, draw and create. Also tablets are the most mobile of the three devices due to it not being restricted to a 90 degree angle.
